
Dr. Verykios is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Patras, and Director of the Laboratory of Heterogeneous Catalysis.
He has held various academic positions in the USA. His research focuses on the areas of heterogeneous catalysis and photo-catalysis, chemical kinetics and chemical reaction engineering.
He has published well over 200 papers in international refeeed journals and holds seven patents. He is the founder of Helbio S.A.

Dr Halkides holds BS and PhD degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Patras. His area of expertise is heterogeneous catalysis, reactor and process design and pollution abatement.
He has experience in catalyst synthesis and characterization and mechanistic studies involving psysicochemical techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), mass-spectrometry, gas chromatography, FTIR, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and BET.
He has published a number of papers in international refereed journals and has made numerous presentations in international conferences.

Mr Stavrakas holds BS and MSc degrees in mechanical enegineering from the University of Patras. His area of expertise is energy systems design, heat transfer and steel vessel design.
He has significant experience in reactor and process design as well as in heterogenous catalysis. He joined the Helbio team in 2003.

Dr Basayiannis is a chemical engineer graduated from the University of Patras in 2002. He holds an Msc and PhD Diploma in chemical engineering.
His area of expertise is heterogenous catalysis reactor design and reforming processes. He joined the Helbio team in 2007
