About Us
HELBIO is active in the development and commercialisation of hydrogen production systems, primarily from renewable sources, either for industrial uses or integrated with fuel cells for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) production. HELBIO designs and produces multi-fuel systems that operate with both liquid and gaseous fuels and has established a leadership position worldwide in hydrogen production from bio-fuels.
HELBIO has developed a number of products, including the most technologically advanced fuel processor, GH2™, while on-going research is targeting the commercialization of new products and processes.
Background
HELBIO was established in November 2001 as a spin - off company with the purpose to commercialize fuel processing technology developed at the University of Patras. The company is a subsidiary of Morphic Technologies AB
